Request for Proposals for prime ag land
at City Farm–San Luis Obispo
Your very own piece of prime agricultural land at City Farm in San Luis Obispo is now available. Central Coast Grown (CCG) is leasing prime agricultural farm plots, up to two acres in size, to individuals and organizations interested in pursuing experiential or educational food production endeavors. The request for proposals is open now through February 16th, 2014.
As a tenant at City Farm–San Luis Obispo you will have your own plot of land to engage in farming and agricultural activities. Applicants may choose to use their proposed amount of land to experiment with new methods, offer educational opportunities, or develop a private farming enterprise. CCG encourages applicants to apply who are excited about becoming a part of the thriving local food and farming culture in the heart of San Luis Obispo.
After partnering with their first City Farm tenant, Nicola Allegretta of Mama’s Meatballs, in the Summer of 2013, CCG is excited to further increase activity and cultivation on the remaining adjacent land, once the new leases are signed in the Spring.
City Farm is located on Calle Joaquin off of Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo. For the complete Request for Proposals and Ground Lease Application visit: www.centralcoastgrown.org
